Drive Pinion
Drive pinion oil seals are used at the connection of differential gear and propeller shaft and prevent leak of differential oil and also foreign substances from the outside.
As the oil seals are often installed facing the vehicle travelling direction, there is concern about penetration of foreign substances. So oil seal with a special shape (UES-9 type) is used.
Further, since they are used in the location of extremely high temperature. resistant material is applied
Diff Side
Differential side oil seals which are installed on both sides of the differential and are mainly used at the connection with the drive shaft.
Those oil seals prevent the transmission oil from leaking in the transmission case of front-wheel drive vehicles and differential oil from leaking in the differential of rear-wheel drive vehicles. ( The reverse is true of rear-engine vehicles.)
Heat-resistant material is used.
Mission Rear
Transmission rear oil seals are used at the connection between the rear end of the transmission and the propeller shaft in longitudinally mounted engine vehicles and prevent leaks of transmission oil and penetration of foreign substances from the outside.
Heat-resistant materials are used for this oil seal.
Mission Input Shaft
Transmission input oil seals are installed on the input shaft of manual transmission vehicles.
They prevent leak of transmission oil and also prevent foreign substances from penetrating from the outside.
Further, they also prevent penetration of clutch dust.
Heat resistant rubber material is used for this oil seal.
Mission Oil Pump
Transmission oil pump seals are used on the transmission input shaft of AT and CVT vehicles and prevent leaks of transmission oil and penetration of foreign substances from the outside.
Heat-resistant material is used.
Transfer Case
Transfer case oil seals are mainly used on input shaft, front output shaft and rear output shaft in the transfer case.
A mechanism that distributes the driving force of a four-wheel drive vehicle to front wheels and rear wheels is called “ transfer ”.
There are various mechanisms of transfer depending on the manufacturer and vehicle type.
In our catalog they are described for convenience in the respective column of transfer.
Heat-resistant materials are used.
